🏃♀️💨 Run for Your Mind: Free Sessions with a Focus on Mental Well-being
Tired of the treadmill and the mental chatter? Join our free run club sessions, where we're lacing up for both physical fitness and mental health! We believe that the biggest muscle you'll train is your mind.
What's the Catch? (Spoiler: There isn't one!)
Our sessions are entirely free to attend. We simply ask that you show up, ready to run, connect, and prioritize your well-being.
🧠 Your Mental Health Toolkit (Built into Every Session):
The 'Why'
Pre-Run Meet & Greet: A dedicated 15-minute window before the run to chat, check in, and meet new faces in a no-pressure zone. Start the session feeling connected, not rushed.
Post-Run 'Cool Down & Converse': Hang out for 30 minutes after the run to stretch, grab a water, and have open conversations with fellow runners and our coaches. Think of it as a 'mental cooldown.'
Online Community Access: Join our private digital space for support, motivation, virtual high-fives, and check-ins between physical sessions.
Charity Fundraising: We host optional, regular fundraising events and collect donations for local mental health charities, turning our collective steps into real support.
The Program
Ready to stop guessing and start gaining? This isn't your average jog-a-thon. Our unique four-day program is designed to deliver maximum results in minimum time by hitting every critical energy system—and keeping your body guessing so you never plateau.
What to Expect (It Changes Weekly!):
Over four consecutive days, we rotate three distinct, structured effort sessions then one essential recovery run on the Thursday. The weekly mix keeps things fresh, efficient, and ensures you're a well-rounded running machine:

⚡️ Speedwork & High Intensity: Short, sharp bursts designed to boost your top-end speed and running economy. Prepare for fast feet and deep breaths.

⏱ Tempo & Threshold: Sustained, challenging efforts to raise your lactate threshold, making your "fast" pace feel "easier" for longer. This is where the real fitness gains happen.

⛰ Longer Intervals: Structured, repeated efforts that build strength and endurance while maintaining form. Essential for smashing those longer distance goals.

😌 Easy/Recovery Run: The mandatory chill day. Crucial for active recovery, injury prevention, and building your aerobic base (and catching your breath).
The Twist: The order of these three key sessions changes every week! This patented (well, club-famous) method prevents stagnation and prepares your body for race-day variability.

Tuesday Ladies Only 6.30pm
Strictly for the ladies, Join Coach Vicki as we guide you through all things runner development from starting at the very beginning to structured intervals towards your next goal. If you're training for a specific event, let Vicki know and we can amend your intensity zones accordingly via our coaching platform 'Training Peaks'
Monday & Wednesday 6.45pm - Speed/Pace Development
Join Coach Dan for some paced intensity training on local roads. If you're training for a specific event, let Dan know and we can amend your intensity zones accordingly via our coaching platform 'Training Peaks'
Thursday 6.30pm - Group Run
Join Coach Vicki as we guide you through all things runner development this session is designed to build running consistency. It is a 60min run which covers distances between 5km to 7miles and above. We regroup at each junction with faster runners looping back, or splitting into two groups when available. If you're training for a specific event, let Vicki know and we can amend your intensity zones accordingly via our coaching platform 'Training Peaks'

To enable us to implement our expertise in utilising the latest analytical tools we require athletes to commit to training with heart rate monitors or power meters. It is imperative that the athlete be able to upload data frequently to Training Peaks to allow our coaches to continually adapt a progressive triathlon or cycling training programme.
